Pleasure of RENEWAL DRESSES

This project based on a very awful experience, wearing a same dress at the same time as others... I hope this never happen to you... :)

From there DiamondHurts started to create her own clothes and she'll never stop hunting
vintage goodies all around the world :)

Mostly it's so hard to find a great perfect vintage clothes,
but the richness of the fabrics always makes DiamondHurts fall in love...
The uniqueness of the motif and textures that no one will ever have the same one...
And DiamondHurts always try to find a way to make all those beautiful fabrics useful...

Renewing need a complicated process...
it's harder than making a new clothes from a new fabrics...
First, we have to collect vintage goodies with size above large (L)...
We need to do the laundry for every single vintage goodies we want to
renew, after that we measure the length of each pieces,
so we know what can we create with the fabrics
or do we need to add another new fabrics for it...
After that we need to take out the accessories like buttons,
zipper, ribbons, etc that already on the clothes...
The hardest part is we need to tear apart the sewed parts slowly...
Because once it's broke, it's hard to be fixed...
After that, we need to make the sketch based on fabrics we have...
if some fabrics is not enough so we need to find another fabrics that matched
to the vintage fabrics..., mostly we only need to add 0.5 to 1 meters...
After that we bring it to our tailor and not many tailor want to do renewing
stuff, because they need to be so careful for each of it..., and it's complicated...
Fiuhhh..., what a progress!! But the satisfaction u'll never find in other clothes...,
just here at ONLY I...

The vintage itself already one of a kind goodies...
and once Only i re-NEW it, it will be a very rare items :)
it's a great pleasure to have a piece of dress with tons of history on it...
you can see the look before..., and wear the look after...
REDUCE, REUSE, RECYCLE for your Fashion Needs, that's so cool....
Be Creative to Save The World!

Love,
Oi
